YERLI MÜZIK*: From Anatolian Pop to Europeans Flirting with Turkish

In the 60’s, villagers started to meet and desire the city. This was reflected in music, in what would come to be called Anatolian Pop. Emerging in Turkey and leaning towards the West, Anatolian Pop filled the country with foreign musicians singing in broken Turkish. In this period, pop entered our lives, and was never to leave it again.
