Lynch Nation

Lynch Nation. As the name suggests, it's a documentary that covers incidents of mob lynching in the name of cow, beef etc in India in the last 4-5 years. The film is 'a relentless journey across India listening to heart-wrenching stories of mob lynching that have torn apart families and the entire nation.' We have made this film with no corporate support; it was crowd-funded, and, during the shoot as well as afterwards.

Shivramkrishna Patil is a research scholar und social activist. He is born in Central India, has a masters degree from JNU, Delhi and is currently doing his phd at Humbolt University. His topics are social inequality in India, caste and capitalism.

Susanne Gupta, journalist with a masters degree in film, theatre and journalism from Freie Universität Berlin. Sie is grown up in Assam India and Berlin and works in the field of media, culture, science and politics.
