Hygiene concept SİNEMA TRANSTOPIA

The hygiene policy for Sinema Transtopia conforms to the third SARS-CoV-2 Containment Measures Directive and the specifics of the cinema premises.

We ask visitors with acute respiratory diseases to refrain from going to the cinema. As of 01 April 2022, the 3G rule will no longer apply. In light of the Corona pandemic, the 3G model is still mandatory for visiting the cinema until 31 March 2022:

Admission to our indoor events is currently possible with proof of complete vaccination (2 doses) or recovery (28 days to 3 months) or negative rapid test (max. 24 hrs old).

Medical or FFP2 mask:
We kindly ask that you continue to wear a mask when not at your seat. We no longer block a seat between adjacent bookings. Wearing the mask at the seat is optional.

Admission: Sinema Transtopia opens 30 minutes before the start of the film to prevent larger crowds at the entrance and provide enough time for admission while maintaining the minimum distance.

Ticketing system: To minimize the crowds in the foyer, tickets cannot be purchased at the box office. Tickets can only be purchased via the online ticketing system on the bi'bak website. In order to ensure the minimum distance between visitors, only seated tickets can be sold. Seating is allocated and binding. Consequently, one can unfortunately not choose their own seating.  Cinemagoers are admitted through contactless scanning of the tickets purchased online.

Documenting Attendance: Due to the existing obligation to documentate visitors with contact tracking information, all visitors are required to enter their first and last name, full address, telephone number, day and time of the event attended, and seat number.

This documenting of the attendance is carried out via the online ticketing system in compliance with the guidelines of the German Data Protection Ordinance (DSGVO) and is deleted four weeks after the end of the event. The data will only be handed over to the appropriate authority on request if a person is suspected of having been infectious at the time of the event, in line with the infection protection law.

Exiting the cinema: In order to maintain the social distancing rules, one can exit the cinema through the emergency exit.

Distance markings: Floor markings in front of the bar as well as directly in front of the entrance to the cinema make sure that the social distancing measures are observed when queuing, entering and inside the building.

Seating: In order to maintain the minimum distance of 1.50 m, individual seats will be marked off. As a result, there can unfortunately only be a limited number of seats available in a row.

Ventilation: The cinema room is well ventilated due to the open construction and the generous space available on site at the Haus der Statistik. Built-in ventilators serve for regular ventilation of the auditorium and ventilate the room with fresh air directly from outside.

Toilets: The social distancing rules also apply in the toilets. Sufficient liquid soap will be available.

Note: The official requirements regarding social distancing rules do not apply to spouses or life partners, members of one’s household and to persons for whom a right of custody and access exists.
