FUTURE STORYTELLERS LAB

Future Storytellers Lab is a documentary workshop where kids and teenagers learn how to craft and tell their stories, by using the documentary form. The Lab’s main objective is to contribute to an ongoing conversation and engage youth as active participants, by creating the appropriate space for kids to develop their storytelling skills, start a dialogue and film their own documentary stories.

A project by Angelos Tsaousis DocRepublic – Filmografik Productions

Supported by START – Create Cultural Change, a program of the Robert Bosch Stiftung, conducted in cooperation with the Goethe Institut Thessaloniki and the German Association of Sociocultural Centers, supported by the John S. Latsis Public Benefit Foundation and the Bodossaki Foundation.

Angelos Tsaousis is a documentary filmmaker from Thessaloniki. In 2017, he was a START fellow at bi'bak in Berlin. With a postgraduate degree in Communication Studies and a specialisation in documentary filmmaking, his main objective is to explore the potential of using documentary form as a social impact and educational tool. He is the founder of DocRepublic – a documentary hub inspiring digital storytellers and public dialogue.

Séamus O'Donnell is one of the pioneers of a Free Radio in Berlin and co-founder of the radio campaign. At the center of his work is the bridge between radio, art and sound experiments.
